Methods of Payment
We accept VISA, Mastercard, and PayPal on the website. If you would like to pay with an alternative method, please contact us at (805) 644-6290. We can accept check, wire transfer, cash, or Discover.
Inflatable Boat Specialists is not obligated to collect sales tax on any order shipped from Ventura, CA to any location outside of California. Without exemption status or proof of export (BoL), orders delivered to California addresses will be required to pay CA sales tax.
If an item is subject to a manufacturer's delay, a Customer Service Representative will notify you. If you would like to continue with your order to ship when available, we will charge you for the order and ship as soon as your unit arrives. Internet credit card authorizations cannot be held in a pending state for more than 7 days, so for back orders and special orders, we must either capture or cancel, or collect funds through a more traditional transaction.
Our representatives will be happy to assist you with all your special orders. Please supply us with all manufacturer information pertaining to the product you wish to order (i.e., model number, name, and color). Inflatable Boat Specialists is not responsible for incorrect manufacturer information. With few exceptions, Special Orders may not be cancelled or returned. Items shipped directly from the supplier/manufacturer are billed at the time of order and may incur an additional service fee imposed by the supplier.
Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges
Please make sure to include the original packaging, manuals, and all other products pieces with your return. We reserve the right to refuse returns or assess additional fees at our discretion if the merchandise is not in the original packaging and ready-to-be-sold condition.
Electronics, inflatable boats, and outboard engines cannot be returned. For all other products, returns for refunds must be made within 10 days, minus shipping and handling fees. Returns for store credit or exchange must be made within 30 days. Special orders are ineligible for returns. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and notified within 10 days. A refund will be processed once product is received from customer. Customers must notify return within 10 days and provide a tracking number to be eligible for a refund.

Please allow up to 5 business days during peak season for processing and shipping on all major units. All orders are processed in the order they are received. Customers may experience slight shipment delays due to a high volume of orders. The Boat Specialists is actively working towards optimizing its services to best support this increase in demand. Thank you for your understanding.
Our Free Shipping program on Major Units (which includes qualifying boats and outboards) covers the base transportation costs of the shipment only. It does not cover oversize fees, residential delivery charges, limited access fees, lift gate fees, expedition fees, etc. These fees are added during the checkout process and are listed on both the product pages and in the cart page.
Only units purchasable on our website qualify for the Free Shipping program. Pre-owned units, certain demo units, and special order units do not qualify for free shipping as they are not available for online purchasing.
Free Shipping on Major Units is only available for the lower US 48 states. Free shipping on major units is excluded for Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, International addresses, and certain Special Delivery Locations within the lower 48, such as Florida Keys and other locations with remote locations from terminals.
All Major Units purchasable online ship via UPS or freight carrier of IBSs choosing. To purchase a major unit that is unable to be added to cart, please call the Sales Team at (805) 644-6290 x298. Most items not purchasable on the website will require delivery via freight carrier or specialized boat hauler.
We provide free shipping on parts and accessories for orders $70 or greater to the lower 48 states. Hawaii, Alaska, and other US territories are excluded from the Free Shipping program. Free shipping is provided via UPS Ground or USPS Priority at Inflatable Boat Specialist's discretion. Expedited shipping methods are available during the checkout process. Expedited shipping rates are not included in the free shipping offer. Our cutoff for same day shipping is Noon, 12PM PST. If you require expedited processing, please call us before or after placing your order. We cannot guarantee expedited same day processing.
Shipping Costs are Non-Refundable. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs if returning your order. Make sure to get a tracking number for your shipment as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item and it is your responsibility to monitor your packages progress.
Warranty Information & Damaged Goods
Most items we sell are covered by manufacturers' warranties. If you experience difficulty with a part or accessory, please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email email@example.com. We will work with you and the manufacturer to resolve any issues. For major units (inflatable boats and outboards), please contact the appropriate manufacturer for assistance and troubleshooting help or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thoroughly inspect all items prior to shipment. We suggest that you also thoroughly inspect the items before accepting delivery. If damage is apparent, refuse delivery or if your parcel is left without a signature and damage is found, please contact Inflatable Boat Specialists Customer Service immediately at (805) 644-6290. Do not discard the box or any packaging materials.
