Zodiac Technology

Advanced Technology- Zodiac's thermo-bonded process is a sophisticated method of joining fabric together using automatic heat and pressure welding. The two fabric pieces are thermo-bonded together edge-to-edge, with an overlapping overside and underside strip. The under layer provides absolute airtightness, while the over layer gives enduring strength and protection. Thermobonding is the remarkable techinque which allows Zodiac to guarantee incredibly high standards of quality control in this critical stage of the pools' manufacture. It is much stronger and safer than hand-glued seams. Zodiac has pioneered the successful development of Dynalon fabrics. Fabric which bonds the tough inner and outer coatings to a dense polyester support cloth.
