To venture out on the seas, or even lakes and estuaries, you have to respect the power of mother nature. You can never take her for granted. We, at BOMBARD, never have. As long as 40 years ago, when Alain Bombard set out to cross the Atlantic in his inflatable boat, he set a standard from which we have never deviated. Your boating activities may not be of the same magnitude, but you may get on the water with a BOMBARD with complete confidence in its strength, performance and reliability.

One of the great advantages of a BOMBARD is you can take it with you in any size vehicle. You can carry it deflated and folded in its carrying bag or inflated on your roof rack. Ideal for campers and RV's, BOMBARD inflatables and semi-rigids are the only choice for people on the move. Semi-rigid tubes can be deflated or removed for easier storage.
Your BOMBARD will get you on the water in minutes. No line ups at the launching ramp for you. From either the roofrack or trunk of your car, your boat can be quickly inflated or prepared for use.
BOMBARDS are light and easy to launch. Just slide them into the water from anywhere around the shore. If you ever try to capsize your BOMBARD you will find out how difficult it is. This is because the large buoyancy tubes give stability and reserves of buoyancy well beyond that of traditional boats, making walking around on board, when stationary, and climbing out from the water that much easier. For extra security this buoyancy tube is made up of several separate airtight chambers to protect against the unexpected.

We start with better fabrics. BOMBARD sportsboats are crafted from our own 1100 decitex fabric which is significantly tougher than what is used in most other inflatables. It has been perfected to retain its original character even after years and years of prolonged exposure to ozone and the sun's UV rays. It is particularly airtight and designed for the marine environment.
Then we build boats with virtually indestructible seams, thanks to Thermobonding. This fuses the fabric together, as well as welding the inner and outer joining strips in a fully automated head fusion process. It totally eliminates the old-fashioned glueing method still used by some manufactueres. So it is very reliable. You can tell by the excellent finish.
Totally sealing one compartment from the other, its conical floating shape equalizes the pressure between them. In case of the unexpected deflation of one compartment, the boat remains unsinkable.
